With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Michael Patterson (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on September 6, 2018 at the age of 30. He was a loving father , and altogether great person that made an impact on everyone that knew him.

He was predeceased by : his grandfather Neal Hammonds; and his uncle Lynn Hammonds. He is survived by : his parents, James Mark Patterson Sr and Mary Cynthia Patterson; his children, Kinsleigh Patterson, Eli Patterson, Keelan Patterson and his girlfriend of 16 yrs and mother of his children , Kelly Beatty; his siblings, Cheyenne Patterson, Dylan Patterson, James Mark Patterson Jr ; sister n law (Stacy) , and his grandmother Mary Hammonds. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins , Aunt's and , Uncle's .

“This year has been rough. I've been thinking about how proud you would be of your kids. Just wish i could have done something to help you. I love you Brother always will. You were there for me many times when no one else was. I just wish i could have been there when you needed someone at your worst. I still remember us getting pulled over on white st and we were smoking and you just set it in the ash tray didn't even put it out. All the cop said was slow it down. REST IN PEACE BROTHER. LOVE YOU”
