He was predeceased by: his parent John Waymon Byrum Sr; and his son Daniel Byrum. He is survived by: his parent Effie Dora Carnes Byrum; his wife Evelyn McGuffin Byrum; his children, Tony Bryum (Nancy), Beth Hughes (Calvin) and Susan Holley (Bill Wilt); his grandchildren, Jennifer Warren (Nicole), Brandon Belk (Katrina), Matthew Byrum (Kristi), Anthony Holley Jr, Wendy Wilt and Bill Wilt Jr (Lindsey); and his great grandchildren, Daniel Belk, Chloe Belk, Owen Byrum, Everett Byrum, Ellis Warren, Avery Warren, Ryan Reed, Alyssa Reed, Alex Wilt and Alyson Wilt.
