It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Palmer (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joel Palmer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Phillips Mullikin; and his brother Harvey Mullikin. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Palmer Williams (Butch Williams) of Anderson and Brooke Palmer Kowalski of Goose Creek; his grandchildren, Austin Palmer Williams, Devin Alana Williams, Ryland Palmer Kowalski, Cooper Reid Kowalski and Harper Bolt Kowalski; and his sister Connie Owens of Anderson. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 East Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
