With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Payne of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Abernathy Payne; his parents, Lawton Payne and Isabell Brown Payne; and his sisters, Dianne Payne and Nancy Harbin.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Talerico (Albert); his grandchildren, D. J. Bradford (Lauren), Joseph Bradford, Sarah Bradford, Owen Bradford, Hudson Bradford and Logan Talerico; his great grandchild Pearson Wright, Jr.; and his brother David Payne.
