The memory of Jim Hanvey of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Allendale, South Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2024 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Hanvey and Mary Louise Hanvey. He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Hanvey (Sara) and Jane Farnsworth of Anderson; his nieces and nephews, Bob Hanvey (Shannon), Mollie Ducworth (Clay), Jimbo Robinson (Mary Morgan), Alex Robinson (Paula) and Caitlin Robinson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison Ducworth, William Ducworth, Emma Hanvey, Anna Grace Hanvey, Tripp Robinson and Lela Robinson; and his close friend Kuntay Sumer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
