She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Brown; her parents, Franklin McDavid and Janie L. Hawthorne McDavid; her daughters, Deborah Dacus and Dianne Humphrey; and her grandson Xavier Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Payne (Fredrick I.) of Asheville, NC, Joye Brown of Jacksonville, FL, Steve McDavid of Jacksonville, FL and Thomas Brown (Wilma) of Midway, GA; and her siblings, Eula Mae McDavid, Helen Cooley, Elvia Pendleton, Brijette Norris, Frank McDavid, Gannie McDavid, Carl McDavid and David McDavid. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
