She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josephine Armstrong and Billy Armstrong; her children, David Armstrong, Rico Armstrong and Racee Armstrong; her grandchildren, Shyquan, Adarius Armstrong and Kourtney Cannon; her great grandchildren, Sirenity, Taelon Armstrong and Kourtlyn McFadden; and her siblings, Glinda Armstrong, John Frank Simmons (Donna), Bobby Ray Simmons (Ida), Randy Armstrong (Joetta) and Joe Billy.
