He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Calhoun and Ellen Calhoun; his former wife Gallena McDuffie Calhoun; his children, Melanie McCullough, LaVelle Jones and Jimmy Brown; his siblings, Ethel Davis, Martha Lee, Alverna Whitter, John Calhoun, Dallas Calhoun, Clarence Calhoun and William Calhoun; and his granddaughter Lakia Calhoun.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Brown Calhoun; his children, Sharon Allen (Greg), Lorrie Brown, Lola Wansley (Thomas), Mickey Brown, Ricky Brown, Jamie Sanders, Robbie Brown (Tina), Lester Brown (Janice) and Chris Calhoun (Rosie); his sisters, Alice Ingram (Jasper) and Inez Barge (Manfield); and his son-in-law Gary McCullough. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
