With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jake Walters (Anderson, South Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alva Walters, Sr. and Cleo Kluttz Walters; and his son Joseph Alva Walters III. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Walters; his children, Anna Mize (Craig) and Kurt Walters (Brandy); his grandchildren, Hunter Mize (Sherry), Jordan Mize (Kelsey), Anna Catherine Mize, Caroline Walters and Lilly Walters; and his great grandchildren, Ansel Mize and Grady Mize.
