It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel Alexander of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Grady Wright and Mae Allen Wright; and her brothers, H. Grady Wright, Jr. (Billie) and H. Allen Wright (Joyce). She is survived by: her children, W. Burley Shedd (Robin) of Mobile, AL, Susan Shedd Whittington (Earle) of Decatur, GA, Betsy Shedd White (Jerry) of Metairie, LA and Sally Shedd Garner (Ed) of Lexington, SC; her grandchildren, Kevin White (Kristen) of New Orleans, Ben Whittington of Atlanta, Anna Garner Caine (Scott) of Charleston, Libby White of Metairie, LA, Jonathan Whittington of Atlanta and Leigh Garner of Lexington; her stepsons, Elmore R. Alexander, III (Pam) and Richard B. Alexander (Mary Louise); and her stepgrandsons, Eric, Stephen and Michael Alexander. She is also survived by one great-grandson; special nieces and nephews.
