She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Johnson; her parents, Eugene Poole and Janie Mae Hicks Poole; her siblings, William Eugene "Slim" Poole, Billy Poole, Sarah Brown, Verena Mattison and Helen Prince; and her half-sisters, Rosella Hall, Mattie Nelson and Annie Bell Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
