Harold McMurtry Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold McMurtry (Anderson, South Carolina), born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harold McMurtry to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McMurtry, Sr. and Bessie M. McMurtry; his son James Harold McMurtry; and his brothers, Lawrence McMurtry, Jr., Ewing McMurtry and Ralph McMurtry.

He is survived by: his wife Irene S. McMurtry; his daughters, Tina Headen, Wanda Lyda and Lee Collier; his stepchildren, Lynne Jenkins, Renee Jones and Michael Jenkins; his grandchildren, Danielle Earhart, Michael Headen, Eric Headen, Tracy Parker, Lizzie Porter and Brittany Harrison; and his siblings, Betty Lyles and Billy McMurtry. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
