He was predeceased by: his parents, George A., Sr. and Ruby Crawford Davis; his wife Lillian Bruce Davis; his grandson Julian Bannister IV; and his siblings, Ralph Davis, Margaret Drake and Nellie Sue Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Moore of Greenville and Suzie Bannister (Jay) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Risha Redmond (Mac) of Greenville and Davis Bannister of Anderson; his great grandchild Michael Moore of Greenville; his sister Patsy Lanning (Tommy) of Piedmont; and his sister-in-law Hilda Bruce of Belton.
