It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Cromer of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Cromer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Eugene and Allie Mae Cole Cromer; and his sister Elaine Chisman. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Garrett Cromer; his daughters, Robin Jean Cromer Gamble (David) and Julie Cromer Graves (Larry); his grandchildren, David Caleb Gamble, Halee Gamble Evans (Jonathan) and Geoffry Darrell Graves; his great grandchildren, Carter Thompson Evans and Gamble Cromer Evans; and his siblings, Lamar Cromer, Ann Blair and Jill Helgeson (Bruce).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakwood Baptist Church, 304 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
