He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman L. Acker and Florence K. Acker; and his granddaughter Chelsa Webb. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Acker; his children, Ron Acker (Serita), Lorie and Dujuan Acker; and his siblings, James Acker (Carolyn), William Acker (Jannie) and Effie Lee (Henry). He is also survived by four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
