We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2021, at the age of 64, Gary Auffhammer of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Louis and Betty Dewitt Auffhammer of Virginia; and his granddaughter Leah Gosnell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Auffhammer; his children, Michael Auffhammer (Elisa) of Garner, NC, Daniel Auffhammer of Rochester, NY and Emily Gosnell (Jason) of Easley; his siblings, Donald Auffhammer (Linda) of Brooksville, FL, Jean Shumway (Jim) of Horseheads, NY and Anita Fralick (Bill) of Sanford, FL; and his grandchildren, Jade, Noel Gosnell, Rachel and Connor Auffhammer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
