He is survived by: his wife Mary Johnson; his children, Alison Hall, Frankie Teasley and Van Lee Mattress (Teresa); his stepchildren, Tammy Knox and Rickey Hall; his siblings, Ruby Mattress, Viola Mattress, Frances "Reba" Scott (Flenzie), Ernestine "Tina" Mattress and Harrison Mattress (Peggy); and his cousins, Larry Harrison, Patsy Harrison and Linda Gantt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
