He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Allen and Lucille Baldwin Martin; and his siblings, Ann Martin Hardin, Jessie Lee Martin Herlong and Rufus Allen "Billy" Martin.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Foster Martin, Jr. (LuAnne) and John Derrick Martin; his grandchildren, Sarah Anne Martin, Meredith Kate Martin, Madeline Anne Martin and John Hayes Martin; and his siblings, Gwen Hardin and Steve M. Martin (Linda).
