She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Frank Cheek; and her parents, Major Calvin and Florella Blume Buchanan. She is survived by: her son Patrick Frank "Rick" Cheek (Sherri); her grandchildren, Taner Cheek, Zachary Cheek (Emzi) and Karsen Cheek; her great grandchildren, Penelope and Julian Cheek; and her siblings, Sylvia Worley, Frankie Roberts, Carolyn Hamilton and Buck Buchanan, Jr..
