It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel G. Kemp of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Kemp, Jr.; her parents, Tommie Cunningham and Gertrude Norris Cunningham; her sons, James T. Cunningham and Willie E. Kemp; and her siblings, Birdie Mae Rutledge, Janie L. Williams, Celestine Jones, Tommie Cunningham, Jr., George Cunningham, Harry Cunningham of Bishop, B. T, John Cunningham, Samuel Cunningham and Robert Cunningham.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Kemp III (Annethia) and Jerome Hardy (Pauline); her sister Cornelia Quarles; and her stepchildren, Calvin Brock, Nettie Latimer (Melvin), Gloria "Cookie" Stewart, Cynthia Diane Carson and Delores Jenkins. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
