It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Switchett (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Cooley and Justine Anderson Cooley; her husband James C. Switchett Sr.; her children, James C. Switchett Jr., Wallace Switchett and Eleanor Ruth Switchett Owens; and her siblings, Thomasina Cooley, Dorothy Cooley Nash and Allen Cooley.

She is survived by: her son Walter Lee Switchett; and her siblings, Juanita Cooley Bennett and Willie C. Cooley. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
