She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry S. Peterson and Leola Agnew Peterson; her husband Charles Geer; and her brothers, Larry C. Peterson and Willie Paul Peterson.
She is survived by: her son Gregory Peterson of Anderson, SC; and her sisters, Linda Miller of Anderson, SC and Zella Hall of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many loving friends.
