He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Nunnally and Sarah Horton Nunnally; his wife Rachel Williams Nunnally; his son Bennett Doyle Nunnally; and his siblings, Otis Nunnally and Lucy Nunnally Moore. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
