She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Long and Margaret Suttles Long; her daughter Nancy Morton Ayers; and her siblings, Grady Long, Conrad Long, Ray Long, Jim Long, Louise Stancil, Rose Goss and Audrey James.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Morton, Dennis Morton, Elain Morton Hall (Larry) and Clifford Morton (Beverly); and her siblings, Earl Long and Pearl Goss. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624).
