He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Vess Barton, Sr. and Velma Vivian Piercy Barton; and his siblings, Claude "Junior" and Pat. He is survived by: his significant other Sarah Walker; his children, Jim Barton, Jerry Walker, Charles Walker (Michelle), JT Walker, Darlene Phillips and Zera Garrett (Rob); and his siblings, Roy, Lenora, Alice and Ethel. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
