With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Kenneth Schmidt of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward James Schmidt and Christina Ann Drummond; and his brothers, Robert Michael Schmidt and Richard Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Annette Schmidt; his children, Christopher Edward Schmidt, Regina Schmidt, Melinda Joslin and Amanda Baker; his siblings, Joseph Edward Schmidt (Sharon), Raymond Patrick Schmidt, David James Schmidt, Donald Phillip Schmidt and Linda Sadlock (Joe); and his stepchildren, Patrick M. Hinds, Melissa Vandale and Christine Hinds. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
