He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ray T Rainwater and Minnie Rainwater; and his siblings, Betty Robertson and Jimmy Rainwater. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn VanPelt (Jerry) of Owenton, Kentucky, Darrell Rainwater (Sheila) of Travelers Rest, SC, Donna Gause of Anderson, SC, Doris Macialek (Richard) of Greenville, SC, Jerry Rainwater (Marilyn) of Houston, Texas, Michael Rainwater (Karen) of Colorado Springs, CO and Darlene Coston (Tim) of Greenville, SC.; his wife Leona Rainwater; and his siblings, Bill Rainier of Grove, OK, Peggy Ward of Ft. Mill, SC, Carroll Rainwater of Fresno, CA and Monty Rainwater of Visalia, CA.. He is also survived by 7 children, 15 grandchildren: 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
