He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Evans and Angie Thompson Evans; his son Clyde Evans Jr.; his siblings, Annie Rice, Emma Peoples, Ruth Gray, Jimmy Evans, John Frank Evans, George Evans, Robert Evans and Will Evans; and his granddaughter Shemika Pitts Gambrell.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Clinkscales Evans; his children, Linda G. Pitts (Charles) of Belton, S. C., Princess Clinkscales of Anderson, S. C., Dorothy A. Gambrell (Fred) of Hampton Ga and Micheal Evans (Tammy) of Anderson, S. C.; and his sister Bertie Mattress (Willie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great - great grandchild, and a host of Nieces, and Nephews.
