He was predeceased by: his parents, Clearance Evoid Brown and Fanny Elizabeth McCurry; his son C. Douglas Brown, II; and his siblings, Terry Bruce Brown, Barbara A. Brown Hammond and Brenda Gayle Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann Brown; his daughter Sharon E. Burroughs; his sister Carol Sue Brown Sears (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Tye and Alec Brown; and his great grandchild Jaxel Brown.
