It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R. Smith of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Landy Earl and Frances Day Smith; his sons, Kipling "Kip" Smith and Kelly Smith; and his siblings, Mary Ann McGill, Margaret Crump and Jimmy L. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bass Smith; his son David Kyle Smith (Angel Kolins); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith, Dylan Smith (Kortney), Madison Smith, Parker Smith and Anderson Smith; and his great grandchildren, Nolan Smith and Riley Smith.
