He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Luther and Nellie Gibson Turner; and his sister Doris Martin. He is survived by: his wife Deborah S. Turner; his children, Joseph Carl "Joey" Turner (Kathey), Michael Dean Turner, Jackie McClellan (William) and Julie Brewer (Michael); his grandchildren, Magan Turner, Devan Turner, Sarah Brewer and Bentley Brewer; his great grandchild Amelia Grace Brewer; his sister Angela Salone; and his nieces, Pam Booth and Debbie Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Coronary Care Unit, Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, 200 Fleetwood Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
