He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Merriweather Hill and Yancey Hill. He is survived by: his wife Marie Bray Merriweather; his sons, Billy Renard Merriweather of Anderson, SC and Kelvin Lamar Merriweather of Charleston, SC; and his siblings, Matthew Merriweather (Stephanie) of Anderson, SC, Marshall Merriweather of Anderson, SC and Janice Merriweather of Anderson, SC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
