He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hunter and Anna Mielski Hunter; and his sister Joan Hunter. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Brown (Bret) and William "Chip" Hunter, Jr.; his grandchildren, Courtney McCall, Christopher Pridemore II, Elizabeth Leigh Hunter, Emily Anne Hunter and Nathaniel Joseph Hunter; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Ayden McCall; and his siblings, Helen Ford and Robert Hunter.
