It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Langston Phillips of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Langston and Maggie Weathers Langston; and her siblings, Charles Langston, Sarah Sewell, Ralph Langston, Peggy Armstrong and Robert Langston.
She is survived by: her husband Art Phillips; her sons, Robert "Tim" Phillips of Anderson and Michael Arthur Phillips of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Taylor Paulina Phillips of Athens, GA and Anna Peyton Phillips of Ashboro, NC.
