She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph A. Bessenbacher and Mildred Bessenbacher (Mapes); her husband Robert Ernest Emhof; her daughters, Amy Lyn Lane (James) of Anderson and Pamela Jo McAlister (Craig) of Mauldin; her grandchildren, Matthew McAlister and Emily McAlister; and her siblings, Bud Bessenbacher and Jo Ann Koenig.
