She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Pat and Zelma Dickerson Baskin; and her husband Ralph C. Powell. She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Powell (Jayne), Melvin Powell (Cindy) and Joel Powell (Michelle). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
