It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adele Weilert Broeker (Anderson, South Carolina), born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on December 18, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Carl Weilert; her husband Carl Walter Broeker; her son Scot K. Broeker; and her sister Marilyn Jean Whitman (Bud). She is survived by: her parent Adeline Allison Weilert of Maplewood, NJ.; her daughter Carolyn Broeker Knight of Anderson, SC; her grandchildren, Heather L. Muto (Andy) of Charlotte, NC and Michael G. Broeker of Raleigh, NC; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Knight, Anderson Muto and Colby Muto; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley K. Knight and Valen M. Knight; her stepgreat-grandchildren, MacKenzie Sharp, Maddison Holcombe and Kayleigh Knight; her nephews, Skip Whitman (Diane), Steven Whitman (Donna) and Stewart Whitman (Carol); her niece Mary Ellen Kawatachi (Mitch); and her close friends, Elizabeth "Lib" Rowland and Jenny Lathrop.
