It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Acie Freeman Jr. (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Acie Freeman, Sr. and Nellie Sue Leverette Freeman; his wife Doris Ruth Moss Freeman; his son Acie Freeman III; and his siblings, Bowyer Freeman, John Freeman, Virginia Freeman Thompson and Inez Freeman Buddin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Williams (Charles) and Tracy Kinnebrew (Clarence); and his siblings, Alonzo Freeman, Mickey Freeman, Michael Freeman Young, Veronica Nesbit, Elizabeth Wilson, Sylvia Williams and Brenda Daniels. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
