She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Rubin Brunson and Lillie Cook Brunson; her son Arthur David Cook, Sr.; her grandson Arthur David Cook, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Brunson, Herman Brunson, Frank Brunson, Hatti May Gohagen, Barbara Jean Stevenson, Betty Brunson and Ivy Lee Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra C. Thomas (Bubba); her grandchildren, Michael Hauptman, Jr. (Kristen), Donald Cook, William Thomas, III and Sara Beth Thomas; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Michael, Kim and Angel; and her sister Frances Crosby.
