He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Ellen Robinson Goodson; his brother Joseph Alan Goodson (I. A.); and his cousin Will Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Michaele Dalin Goodson; his daughter Amber Dalin (Mike); his grandson Joseph Branden Dalin; and his cousins, Melvin David Robinson, Jr. (Tammy), William Theodore Robinson (Dawn), Edward Wannamaker Robinson (Madalyn), Bill Goodson, Jackie, G. Gohagan (Nick), Alan (Nickie) and Addie Goodson.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Great Saltkehatchie Cemetery.
