She is survived by: her children, Jason Thomas Smith and Teddie Annette S. Rice; her grandsons, Charles Rice (Tiffany) and Andrew "Andy" Rice; and her siblings, Ellie William Weatherford, Doug Weatherford (Virginia), J. T. Thomas (Beverly), Ernie W. Owens (Tommy) and Linda W. Rosengren (Gar). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
