James Harris Brooker Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harris Brooker Sr. (Allendale, South Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mathis Brooker and Estelle Bing Brant; his wife Henrietta Youmans Brooker; and his brothers, Benjamin Brooker and Roger Brooker.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Brooker (Nathaniel) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Harriet Brooker of Warrenville, James Brooker, Jr. (Marquita) of Forest City and Benny Brooker of Charlotte; his sisters, Sara Mae of Allendale, Jeanette Hart (Ronnie) of Brooklyn and Isabell Adell of Matawan; and his siblings-in-law, James Grant (Aretha) of Allendale, Arthur Grant (Mildrue) of Allendale, Naemon Youmans (Brenda) of Allendale, Johnny Grant of Allendale, Thomas Williams (Eunice) of Allendale, Dixie Brooker of Allendale, Mary Ann Fields (Eddie) of Allendale, Martha Fullington (George) of Allendale, Rena Raysor of Allendale, Blossie Williams of Allendale, Deselena Woods of Allendale, Vernia Badger of Allendale, Patrica Ann Cave of Allendale and Eva Moses (Patterson) of Allendale. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
