It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Stewart HightowerSr. (Allendale, South Carolina), born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley and Marie Spires Hightower; and his siblings, Tony Hightower and Donna Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Brant Hightower; his sons, Douglas Stewart Hightower, Jr. (Marcie) and John Barrett Hightower; his siblings, Charles Hightower (Annette) and Eleanor H. James; his grandchildren, Hannah Rhea Hightower and Alanah Hightower; and his mother-in-law Barbara S. Brant.
