She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hewitt and Elease Faircloth Hewitt. She is survived by: her husband John H. Hughey, Sr.; her children, Teresa Bowen (Lee) and John Hughey, Jr. (Gretchen); her grandchildren, Emily Bowen (Steven Layfield), Kayla Hughey and Nicholas Hughey; and her great grandchildren, Abel, Rylan and Jaxson. She is also survived by four sisters and one brother.
