With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Elsworth Dawson of Allendale, South Carolina, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on February 11, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett James and Martha Lenora Dawson (Jones); and his siblings, Emmett Dawson Jr., Paul Dewey Dawson, Marceline June Carter and Betty Dawson Stanton.
He is survived by: his wife Olga Tetar; his sister Mina Lenora Dawson Bousquet; and his son David Dawson Jr. (Kim).
Owing to Covid restrictions, no public services are planned at this time, although a memorial service may be held at a later date.
