He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Andrews Coker; his parents, George Ellis and Bessie Padgett Coker; his children, Michael Charles Coker (Regina Crawford), Celeste C. Skeen (Max) and Holy Jean Coker; his stepson Tim Dykes (Webby); his stepdaughter-in-law Joyce B. Topper; and his former wife Frances Rhodes Coker.
