Ada Marie Houck Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 101, Ada Marie Houck (Allendale, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Smith and Lillie Anderson Smith; her husband Henry Hoyt Houck, Jr.; her brothers, Cohen Smith, Manuel Smith and Frampton Smith; her sons, Charles Henry Houck and Jimmy Houck; and her daughter-in-law Norma Houck (Arriestine Anderson).
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Hicks (Doug); her daughter-in-law Margaret Houck; her grandchildren, Margaret Marie Platts, Rebecca Beard (Andy), Scott Houck (Laura) and Charlie Hicks (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Dylan King, Jason King, Addi Scott Houck, Theodore Hicks, Oliver Hicks and Nicholas Hicks; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Adam Beard and Avery Beard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gillette United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
