She was predeceased by: her husband David; and her parents, Edward Fluent and Gertrude Fluent. She is survived by: her children, David (Dawn) of New York, Jason (Angela) of New York and Jennifer (Don) of Alcolu, SC; her siblings, James Fluent (Dawn) of Arizona, Timothy Fluent (Beverly) of Georgia, Daniel Fluent (Sally) of New York, Kevin Fluent of New York, Richard Fluent (Bonnie) of New York and Cynthia Tucker (Robert) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Ed Sweet (Emily) of New York, Dylan Schwartz of New York, Abigail Blake (Noah) of New York, Marijayne Schwartz of New York and Spencer Smith of Columbia, SC.; her great grandchild Isabella Schwartz of New York; and her cousin Donna Brahaney (Pam Montgomery) of New York. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
It was Diane's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to The Arthritis Foundation.
