She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John Boyd Tennant, Jr.; her parents, Samuel Watson Campbell and Lila Lee Campbell; her husbands, A. J. Davis and Charles Mitchell Gibbs, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Ross, Doris Tate and Lynn Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Lila Cameron (Wyly) of Rock Hill, Lee Ann Smith (David) of Brentwood, TN, Shannon Gasaway (Dan) of Homer, GA, Carol Crochet (Ken) of Decatur, GA and Charles Mitchell Gibbs III (Kendra); her grandchildren, Larissa Greer (Greg), Benjamin Cameron, Justin Smith, Kathryn Smith (Rafa Tudela), Carson Crochet, Clayton Crochet, Campbell Gibbs, Jacob Gibbs and Cooper Gibbs; her sister June Dawson (Bill) of Mt. Pleasant; and her stepchildren, Mary Tennant Bleasdale (Ralph) of Alcolu and John Boyd Tennant III (Linda) of Fort Mill. She is also survived by five step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
