He is survived by: his wife Eula Mae Paige Carter; his children, Sharon Carter, Celestine Simpkins and Curtis Carter; and his sister Beatrice C. Nash of Jamaica, NY. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
